What we do with what you send us.

What we collect. When you use the contact form, we collect your email address, whatever you write in the message box, and — if you fill them in — your name and how you’d describe your current site. We also automatically log your IP address and browser type, purely to catch spam.

What we do with it. We use it to reply to you, once. If you’ve ticked the box asking for occasional tips, we send those too, at most monthly, and every one has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.

Where it’s kept. Your enquiry is stored on Amazon Web Services, in the UK/EU, and is automatically deleted after two years. We don’t sell it, share it, or use it for anything else.

Who sees it. Just us. No analytics and no ad networks, and we set no cookies ourselves.

The spam check. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from spam robots. When the form loads, Cloudflare receives your IP address and some details about your browser, to make that decision. We do not use it for anything else. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy covers what it does with that.

Your rights. Email us and ask to see what we hold on you, or ask us to delete it, and we will — usually the same day.
